I couldn't duplicate last year's Preakness success when I won a $5 trifecta for $900. The winning trifecta on Saturday was 2-9-7 which would have paid $360 for a $5 bet. Came close with 2-6-7, 2-9-5, and 9-2-7 among my 30 bets. Journalism ($1.6 mil) and Sandman ($1.2 mil) were highest in career earnings and were included in many of my bets.
