I wouldn't say the sky is falling. Look what Cignetti did at IU. As long as they know what they are doing it should be good. The question of the day is do they know what they are doing??

I think I heard 30-40 players from this year's roster. Maybe it was 50?
But, I'm sure most other programs will be going thru the same shit due to the new roster size restrictions.

That lists includes all incoming freshmen and zero outgoing seniors. It also includes all current portal entrants. That's how massive this will be.

FYI - I think the bigger names are going to enter the portal first. There's a bigger market for them and they're likely being tampered with ahead of time anyway.

Walk-ons will not be leaving until after the bowl game. Most of them don't want to leave and simply have to because of numbers. Rhule is going to get them their bowl experience and then they'll either quit football or hit the portal.
 
Alright, a week after signing day and I think the dust has settled on the 2025 class. I'll be updating rankings etc. today.

Also - Portal season is in full swing. Nebraska has already strategically targeted multiple names. I'll provide those today at some point as well! Recruiting never stops!

I'll also be starting the 2026 class thread soon!

Just a reminder that some things MIGHT change when final ratings come out before the second signing day. I will not be posting the final ratings of players until then. I do not believe that will impact our overall ranking much which is why I already posted those. They may need to be edited at that point, but I would doubt it.

Jackson made is profile private, so not sure what he is saying beyond that. I took his comments to mean that he specifically is going to shock the world etc... but I might be wrong.

Anywho... Portal season is upon us.

Former 5-Star EDGE Williams Nwarni is in the transfer portal from Missouri. He will end up at Nebraska. Also visting Nebraska from the portal this week:

Kameron Olds - Kent State EDGE - He had 42 tackls, 6 sacks, and an INT last season for the Golden Flashes. Minnesota, LSU, Kentucky, Virginia (where he's from) are among schools interested.

Eric Rivers - FIU WR - he had 1,170 receiving yards and 12 TDs for the Panthers this season. Finalists for his services include Nebraska, Miami, Penn State, and Colorado.

There were rumors of some LBers but both LBers that were rumored are no longer visiting. I do believe Nebraska will be active for LBers in the portal in the near the near future.

Danny Kaelin going to Virginia. Good landing spot for him considering the number of transfers out there.
