2026 Recruiting Thread

With the dead period starting on June 23 and lasting to July 31, and then high school camps starting in August, a lot of players are going to pop soon. Here, for example, is a listing of top UGA prospects and their announcement dates:

Going to be a wild next 2 weeks for recruiting commitments.
 
USC is going full 2022 Texas A&M with the bag flinging this year.

Top 100 4* DL Luke Waffle was 100% a lock to Ohio State yesterday afternoon according to about every insider, until USC came in swinging massive bags this morning.

I'm not too concerned with EDGE right now. We secured Wilder for this class, and with what we're bringing in via the portal and the 2025 class, we're just fine at the moment. If he's just chasing a bag, he's not the fit for us anyhow. We'll see him in the portal in a couple of years.

Yea me neither, and I agree, it just sucks that we seem to be on the wrong end of these last second bag swings quite a bit.

At least we will get a commitment from Cincere Johnson today.

word is that clemson sold his inner circle that he would be given the chance to play immediately...where Texas were selling him on developing a full year then look to potentially start his 2nd year.. it wasn't about money since both schools had similar offers.

we'll see if he sticks or if he eventually visits Austin down the line again.. Terrific looking kid though.. think he is really underrated
 
4 star EDGE Luke Wafle out of New Jersey has committed to USC.

 
4 star DL David Schwerzel out of Washington has committed to UCLA.

 
5 star S Jett Washington out of Nevada has committed to Oregon. This is a big get for the Ducks.

Also helps that it's only a short ride down I-85 to get back home
