I remember that too. I miss the days when sports journalism wasn't so heavily dependent on clicks and online engagement. Personally I blame Skip Bayless, that rat-faced cracker.

Social Media and ZERO being held to accountability makes it easy to just fling bullshit out and hope it sticks. These losers can just claim "anonymous sources told me!" and then say "woopsie sometimes these things are wrong!" in the end and just move on without consequence.

Yeah, we have some hot shot HS kids that come out of 6A competitive ball and lay an egg in college. Then the likes of Colt McCoy that comes out of a 2A school.
