I'm more surprised that they didn't have confident in Miller Moss. The reports out of practice said they were pretty high on him. Apparently Riley didn't think he was good enough to be QB1.

Maybe. I can't say that I watched Howard a lot but when I did, I wasn't overly impressed.

The simple solution to all of this is to not open the transfer portal until the bowl games are over.

so make players stay for another semester, not giving them an option to enroll elsewhere in Jan to participate in winter/spring camp? Yikes.. coaches should adhere to the same rules to?

what? for players coming in they do.. having a full spring of taking reps and learning the playbook.. versus players coming in June?

look man the system/timing sucks.. but it is what it is.. players won't all of the sudden begin to play bowl games, they still will sit out

That’s where the NIL should require it .

NIL goes academic year to academic year.. most finishing after the regular season.. which is before the bowl games.. I have no issues with it, players have to make a decision.. My horns lost a few players from it too.. oh well..adapt or die

Yeah it has nothing to do with my team, it’s just fundamental fairness.

NIL can not be linked to play or a school, so that doesn’t really matter. Doesn’t matter anymore. 12 team playoff has killed bowls, that just haven’t realized it yet
