25 years since Friday..Friday thread

Hour and a half they told me I'd be waiting is up. Hopefully getting out of here soon. Starving and want to go get some BBQ sandwiches.

But there's only like 10 beers in a gallon. A lot of folks can take care of 22 gallons in a few months.

About ten to one on the alcohol to liquid transition there also lol

(Unless you drink gobucks 15 percent stuff)

On a serious note I don't exactly remember your views on religion but I can recall taking some time and thinking on it some.

Faith is something I go back and forth with. I definitely leaned on it hard in some tough times. My day to day isn't what it probably should be.

Are you also of Jewish descent as well? Don't recall
Full disclosure, I married into it, so my wife and kids are Jewish and I consider myself half.

There are a lot of great things I've taken from it. Freewill is a very important pillar to Judaism, and that resonates strongly with me. We, as humans, have been given the gift of freewill. We have the ability to choose what we do, or how we react to things, and it's important to me to try to make the best decisions and take responsibility for how I choose to behave.

My beliefs are an odd mix of Jewish and Buddhist. I've had some very interesting conversations with the Rabbi of a local orthodox temple that we go to from time to time (Mrs is reformed, not orthodox).

Then that sign should have said 22 gallons of beer. Beer is not alcohol, it's just for hydration.

Using a leftover baked potato, leftover over Nashville hot chicken, and a couple eggs to make lunch. Exciting times.

I was able to eat all of my chicken, although I should've got the last piece to go

I did leave half a waffle behind

Half-Jew.

Motherfuckers need to have senses of humor and not let shit bother them so much. It's just a joke. I told Mrs Redfoot the other day that Chipotle jewed me on the barbacoa. They're just jokes.

Now, when someone starts in with some true anti-semetic shit, I don't like that, just the same with any race or whatever. I'll make all kinds of jokes about needing to make sure my bike is locked up if a black friend is coming over, but if I hear someone start saying really racist shit, I get pissed.
So...jew-ish?

That is what it was...the mixing with buddhism deal.

I'm a huge believer in karma for one

I'm sure you can attest as I did the east coast Jewish folks are serious about their shit.

Had a store in Greenspring I managed for a bit

Ugh, this Dr appointment better be quick.

Absolutely. I also fully believe in reincarnation.

I believe karma can be reconciled over different lives.
Or as Trump found out, this life....
