GAME #3 Alabama @ #6 Tennessee - 3:30 EST CBS

First guess here. I wondered why at the time why Alabama didn't run on 3rd down, have a little shorter FG and either run the clock down to the final 4 seconds for their FG kick or make Tennessee burn a time out to avoid potentially giving Tennessee the ball back with a relatively short field for the winning FG or leave them one TO short for the attempted drive. It could have been win or OT. That was truly a huge coaching blunder. Either way, good on the Vols for doing what they did.

This will likely be the last regular season loss for Bama this year. Only Ole Miss has the potential for the upset, but that was more likely with an undefeated Tide IMO.

Bill O’Brien is why. Way too many errors for Alabama to overcome and Saban and company were outcoached.

That was a good fucking game. Tennessee is back, and I would not want to play an angry Alabama. Personally, I respect Defense, but that game was fun to watch. I have a ton of respect for Alabama and they lost none of it.

Maybe. It will not be easy to get back to Atlanta. And I just have zero faith in BOB

Golding is terrible too. But it is what it is. Saban has multiple opportunities to fire him the last 3 seasons and hasn’t so I’m sad to say he will be here until he doesn’t want to be

If Bama gets to Allanta and faces UGA, the Dawgs will clown-stomp them without effort. If the Vols pull the upset and make it to the SECCG, Bama might beat them the second time around, only to get embarrassed in the playoffs.

I will say, I was honestly surprised the game was as close as it was. Even with all of Alabamas mistakes.

I think you’re right though. A rematch with UTK and Bama might win. UGA? Meh we will see. They’re tough to read

Agree. Folks remember the Bama defense of old, ignoring the Swiss Cheese secondary of more recent history.

Outside a couple of playmakers, Bama's defense is a sick joke.
