GAME #3 Alabama @ #6 Tennessee - 3:30 EST CBS

Both are SEC-East.
Preference you'd think would have go to Georgia if they beat UT, Bama is a conference champion and they all finish with 1-loss.

But there's definitely going to be discussions about all three making the playoff.

NC playoffs? Possibly, but don't see it.

It is possible if Tennessee beats Georgia and wins out, Alabama wins out and beats Tennessee in Atlanta, and Georgia wins every game but Tennessee

Yeah, that'd be pretty messed up.

In 2003, there was a 3-way tie for SEC East with Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. All three had 2 conference losses. Georgia got the nod because of some formula about them being higher in BCS rankings by like 2 points over Tennessee (it was kind of dumb because Tennessee won @ Miami that year when Miami was still legit).

I’m pretty hammered and my GF is getting on my nerves, but as a UGA fan, ain’t skeered of either of these peckerwood teams.

But I wasn’t skeered of the Phillies either and look where that got me

I had a really good betting day, but my dumbass did bet the under in this game

What the hell was this shit?

I thought NCAA Basketball wasn't supposed to start until November.

Just like fucking Christmas. Always trying to outshine Halloween.

Most points scored against Alabama in 115 years.

Fuck off, Pete Golding

On the GF front, why don’t you just deflate her?

I was shocked by that stat. I mean, yeah, 52 points is a lot, but bama has NEVER given up that many points in over 100 years?? I could understand if it was 70+ or something crazy like that

Historically both Alabama and Tennessee were more focused on ball control and defense. This was true well into the 2000s. Tennessee started to open it up more in late Fulmer era but has had a hard time fitting into modern era.

Alabama was same way. Even when Alabama was bad, it was usually their offense letting them down rather than defense in most games.
