And Auburn brought in Cam, so not sure how that was calculated. Point is valid though
Right, Auburn depended entirely on one guy while michigan had basically an entire team of 4th/5th year guys. You don't see a team like that succeed very often because normally if those guys are good, they're in the NFL. Thankfully NIL existed for them. That isn't "creating a culture" though, as we can clearly see this year.

I don’t think it is culture. It is about talent. If you are consistently in the top 5, you are going to be pretty steady. There is a reason I said Harbaugh was not a great recruiter. Michigan has not recruited as well as they should.

That's why the last 3 years stick out as such an anomaly for them and why I don't think he's a great coach. He was there for 6 years, with two solid years to start (playing with recruits from a different coach), then 3 of his next 4 seasons were letdowns (arguably 4 out of 4). Then out of nowhere they burst onto the scene. Now they're back to looking mediocre again. You don't see that from the other coaching greats of recent years. Inconsistency year after year, losing to a large number of teams with less talent, and getting shelled by teams with more talent doesn't scream "great coach" to me.

U of San Diego- 29-6 (they have 2 11 win season, both under Harbaugh)

Stanford- 29-21, took over an 1-11 team

Michigan- 86-25 (took over a 5-7 team)

49ers- 44-19 (took over a 6-10 team)

Not sure how anyone can look at that resume and say Harbaugh can not coach. He has succeeded everywhere he has been. He has had to rebuild at every stop. It’s not like he was handed 10-12 win teams. I am not sure he is the first call to rebuild a team, but the list before him doesn’t take long to call

The 2012-2014 michigan classes were ranked 6th, 4th, and 20th nationally, and the 2014 class only rated that low because it was a smaller class but they were 7th in average player rating. This idea that he came to michigan with a team in shambles is just moronic. Harbaugh is a better coach than Brady Hoke, yes. That's not a ringing endorsement.

I've already said I applaud the work he did at Stanford, but he was also a big fish in a small pond at U of San Diego (not sure how many former NFL players/coaches he was up against in the FCS Pioneer League).

I never said he can't coach. I'm saying what we saw the last 3 years was not indicative of what he actually is. It's not like he just started at michigan in 2019 - he was there for 6 full years prior to 2021, and he took over michigan when they clearly already had top 5-10 talent. He then went 6 years never beating OSU. He was .500 against MSU, PSU and Iowa, while being under .500 against Wisconsin in those 6 years as well. Then magically in 2021 everything changed somehow.

I am an idiot for thinking a culture of street racing is bad.. it’s a national story, so there must be a lot of idiots out there. That is one theory. another is you sitting there with a biscuit sipping up Kirby’s BS
No, but you are an idiot if you don't think I agree with that (I've stated it multiple times), and/or if you think that is the same thing as a 3 year cheating scheme coupled with lying to the NCAA about repeated recruiting violations and getting your coaching staff blackballed from CFB with more penalties to come, and if you think that the culture at UGA is in any way bad, and finally if you think because my school has some issues (everyone does) I can't criticize other schools for theirs.

Exactly what is Kirby's BS? Please, fill me in.

Someone is mad. It’s not my coaching staff.. Just pointing out your lack of perspective

1. I am not mad, I am laughing at UM. Why in the world would a UGA fan be mad? Seriously?

2. I dont' have a lack of perspective. Unlike UM fans, I have acknowledged my programs shortcomings, often and openly. I understand the difference between 20 year olds speeding and a 3 year scheme to cheat to get a competitive advantage, all the while denying the obvious truth. My perspective on things is just fine.

Yep, all the cheating scandal shit, analysts getting fired for "inappropriate contact with minors", former players getting arrested for Human Trafficking. Weiss "computer crimes"

Don't forget their hiring of racist "Shemmy" without even vetting him and Donovan Edwards anti-Semitic shit lol.

dUMb fans will still look at you with a straight face though and say their program is 100% pure and they "dont do things like or have problem people involved with their program like Ohio State and the SEC!"
