(5) THE Ohio State University Vs. (20) PSU

I had no clue they had that many defensive TD’s. Crazy

Oh man -- i just saw the ending of the FSU Clemson game -- Clemson was -9.5 with an O/U of 47.5. 24-20 with 4 seconds to go at the FSU 33 yard line. FSU tries to do laterals on the last play of the game, fumble and it is pick up by Clemson and they score to not only cover, but go as well. Glad I didn't bet that game. :pound:

This Buckeye team has no business being mentioned in the same breath as the phrase "College Football Playoff". Maybe next season, when the overall roster is a little older with a more experience, but this team is too soft. I hope "soft" and "finesse" isnt becoming a hallmark of a Ryan Day-coached team

Eh

I think we are being overly critical.

Let's see if Ohio State can make some halftime adjustments and come out stronger. Glad they started blitzing bc they were getting picked apart when just rushing 4. Hopefully the refs start calling some holds

"Home cooking"

Skill positions -- I'd put OSU up against any team. They just lack those difference makers on the defebse they've had in the past. The Chase Young/Bosa brothers type player or the lock down CB's they have had for like a decade, with Okudah, Lattimore, Denzel Ward, etc.

I dont disagree, but their offensive line hasnt been nearly as good as in years past, either

Yep even if they do have a ton of freshman they always had impact players at key positions. Maybe Sawyer becomes one of those guys but not there yet

PSU might not score 10 more points the rest of the game. Certainly not without OSU putting a few more up.

I have PSU +18.5 oye
If PSU abandons the run and throws every down -- they will score points. They remind me of Michigan though. They have to run it up the gut for 0 or 1 yard and put them in a 2nd or 3rd and long before they will throw the ball.

Offensive line is not having a good night. Crazy thing is, a lot of it isn't even getting outplayed, they are just missing assignments and making mental mistakes

They looked dominant vs shit competition but honestly they are get whipped right now. Lucky to have a lead

If they abandon the run Clifford wouldn't make it off the field alive. As soon as Ohio State started blitzing they were getting to him almost every time

That's what stands out the most to me about OSU, other than their ridiculous amount of talent at WR. Defensively -- they just don't have that absolutely stud at DE or that CB who you know is shutting down half the field. They have quality DT's, but nothing else on the defensive side of the ball puts fear in teams.
