Welcome to the SEC when even lowly Vandy can give you a scare!

UF, @Arky, Ky, @ATM. You have your hands full the rest of the season. That Ky game is the only one that should be a sure win.

Does anyone know what Kentucky team will show up? I don’t think even Kentucky players know

pissed about the Vandy game, because of the penalties and turnovers. They have a habit of having penalties at the worst possible moments and usually not relevant to the plays success. 10 penalties over 100 yards is just shit football

i just rewatched it this morning.. we dominated this game yet Vandy was still in it til the end..

Quinn missed some huge plays this game by hesitating.. no way should we ever just score 6 points in a half..

Not sure wtf the refs were on but Banks holding call?? was BS.. Helm's holding call? Even more BS.. Like SECN doesn't do replays for whatever reason.. I had to rewind those plays to see it again.. and those were bogus. those calls came in spots that had us in FG range driving.

Now VB late hit was totally on him being a dumbass.. had he not taken the extra steps.. game would have ended 34-17.. HOWEVER in his defense.. the horrible clock management by Sark should have never even put VB in that position to be a dumbfuck.. After Blue huge run to the Vandy 5.. instead of sitting on the clock.. Sark ran uptempo plays then threw an INC pass on 3rd down.. We should have kicked the FG and let Vandy have the ball with less than a minute left in the game.. instead of giving Vandy the ball with 2:00 left

This game felt like last year's funk we had post ou.. going up multiple scores then holding on.. Sad part is that the defense had a good game.. Vandy only scored one TD when not taking over a short field off an INT.. and that drive should have ended up with a TD for the defense..

Time to heal up, Jelani did well filling in for Mukuba but for this defense to be hitting we need Mukuba back healthy.. but i'm excited to see how jelani and Williams will look next season with Mookie and Mukuba both gone.

Also Flood gotta work with Cam Williams .. one thing is to allow pressure off miscommunication.. i hate it but it does happen.. however it's something else when you get whipped off a spin move time and time again.

Texas is 101 in the nation in penalties. Nearly every big special teams play and several big plays on offense are brought back due to holding.

The goal line series was strange. You pass on 2nd and I couldn’t understand that, but then run outside to the boundary? If you are playing for the FG run the ball up the middle. Why add on difficulty. If you go for the throat on 2nd, why back off on 3rd? Just weird

It’s a disaster. I think some of it is new conference and refs. Holding is never called in the Big 12, they protect the offenses. Opposite happens in the SEC. I went from seeing blatant holds not called to seeing phantom holds called. It’s pretty strange phenomenon

Hell, Texas is used to getting a “scare” and even a loss from the “lowly”. They’ve done so regularly the last decade. Nothing new for them. Same, same.

You can kneel the ball three times and kick the game clinching FG. Ask the falcons how it turned out for them when they also didn’t do that. Fuck!! Football teams need logic coaches.
