GAME 5 UGA @ 1 TEXAS • 6:30CT • ABC

Me either. He's a kid that needs to see good defense and get his teeth kicked in to get up to speed like everyone. He's got the talent, but he's not ready to just be dropped into a game against UGA then ripped back out.
Especially someone like him who played at a small private HS and wasn’t facing top HS teams either.

If Quinn is healthy, I stick with him. UGA’s front 7 was able to get more pressure than they had all season and the secondary played by far their best game of the season.

A rough game against a talented team that had been underperforming, but played to their potential in the biggest regular season game of their season isn’t something to overreact and bench your QB over IMO

The controversy comes from Arch playing against some of the worst secondaries and looking really good, so their fans think they have prime Peyton sitting on the bench.
The controversy comes from how poorly Quinn is playing. I said this before the Georgia game. Quinn was bad vs OU. His mechanics are terrible and pocket presence was brutal. That continued vs Georgia. Pff had him with 6 turnover worthy plays vs Georgia, that is the most by a player in the last 4 years. He took about 3 sacks on pure bad pocket presence/foot work. The reason to play a 3 year starter for ver someone like Arch is consistency. Since coming back from injury Quinn has looked like freshman Quinn. Just hard to know what you will get out of him. PFF now has him the 230th rated Qb. He is below DJ U.. That is how bad the last 2 games have been. It’s like Chuck Knoblach type shit

Just goes to show you that the fans influenced the game twice that day. Once over the coach and once over the refs.

Agree with all of that. But it isn't like yanking Quinn out for part of a quarter then putting him back in snapped him out of it. It's clear that Quinn is hurt but knows he doesn't have the starting QB position next season so trying to get on the field to build draft stock. But he's hurting it. At this rate he is more likely to transfer somewhere for next season, but he's clearly not 100%.

But the short amount of time Arch got in there didn't help him either. It was a very odd game, and one Sark would probably change a whole lot about if he got a do-over.

It’s bizarre. not sure if it is health or mentally he doesn’t trust his body. He is almost exclusively throwing with his arm. Sark was just trying to get a spark. Quinn was taking bad sacks and being really slow with the ball. His footwork (always an issue) has reverted. I was surprised he went back to Quinn. Once you make the move the genie is out of the bottle. 2 series for Arch isn’t fair to him either. Kind of an odd move. I think the 1st half of Vandy might be the biggest of Quinn’s career. He is playing for his starting job

If this is legit, looks like they got started...

I was at Turner Field sitting in the second row for the infield fly wild card game. I would have been throwing stuff on the field if I didn’t have to cover my head from the weaker arms behind and above me not quite making it to the field. Still hope Sam Holbrook dies a horrible death, the county has to claim his body and the hearse is the only car in his funeral procession

Really? WTF are we doing here? Wooderson out here speaking for the school? :pound:

Petition to change every Jexas fan's screen name here to include "M.O.C"

he had open guys in his time vs UGA.. but like most young QBs he was looking for the homerun.. He's gonna be GREAT..

still had the biggest play offensively that first half

timing sucked, but sometimes you gotta get thrown in the fire
