I’m shocked that rule has never been changed. Not only does it stop the game. They wait until the snap to start the fucking clock. As opposed to the clock starting as soon as the chains are set and ball is spotted after the 1st down. It’s basically a free timeout and favors the team racing the clock. A easy thing to exploit.
