Ironic the last time the OU offense was this bad was when Heupel was running it. Waited too late to pull the trigger on Arnold. OU defense held them to 6 points in the 2nd half but it was too late.

Dude, I’m pumped about the defense too but Heuple dialed it way back because he could.

OU deserved to get whooped at home by rolling that offense onto the field.

OU absurd injury issues

-They lost Dolby (cheetah starter) for the season and maybe ever with a dislocated ankle.

-Burks left the game and is rumored on their 247 board to have a season ending issue. No idea if valid but the dude is hurt with a lower leg injury.

-Anderson severely reinjured his quad and may be done for the year.

-Anthony isn’t playable because he’s a shadow of his former self.

-Tatum has a neck injury or concussion or both.

-Jayden Jackson has a shoulder injury.

It’s a legit defense. The only issue they have is how much is being asked of them. I am not sure they can hold up a whole season, if that offense doesn’t take some serious strides

sure it's legit.. til after we play them in 3 weeks.. then it will be a "good" unit that has injury issues.. just watch

That was kind of my point. OU defense is on the field a lot. Kind of like Michigan, where you are watching and think “the offense needs to get 1-2 first downs here or this defense is in trouble”. You don’t even say get a score, just hope they give the defense a breather

Well make sure you get your rocks off in the years you can, the dry spells can last a bit. You know this though.

...and the defense, while fatigued, will be more prone to injury.

I'm not even mad about this...seen it coming. I had hopes that SL & JJ would be able to just continue what Lebby had going, but with the departure of Gabriel and that shithead Frosh OL NOW COUPLED with injuries to our once deep as fuck WR room AND OL room I have to give the coaching staff a mulligan. But only one. Make progress or else. OU can't afford to middle around anymore.

Jackson Arnold has proven that he cant be relied upon in this system with whatever excuses they want to make. I hope its a matter of him just needing more experience...but he's looking like another Spencer Rattler so far. Can't handle the moment, pissing down his leg.

Again, enjoy it Vol Nation. You earned it. I'm not sure if you've got what its going to take to beat Ole Miss/UGA/Bama, but you're sure as fuck further along than OU is. Just know that OU has a nasty reputation of getting evens...and we're bunkmates now.
