It’s just Kelly being Kelly. He almost always starts the season with the worse option at qb. The qbs then usually degress under him

It’s not just QB. He rewards seniority even when it isn’t called for. I would be surprised if he saw who he had and wasn’t sure who could play so went out in the transfer portal and promised Coan the job.

maybe with a better OL that would’ve worked. But now you have to play with what you got and Coan ain’t getting it done
