GAME 7 TENN @ 12 UGA • now • abc

It might bother some of the Alabama players in Indiana on Dec 20 or 21
You are about to see how over rated Indiana is this weekend. They are NOT a CFP team even though they may fall into a spot. You guys should beat them by 3 touchdowns.

Would you quit making me agree with you? It just feels dirty.

You forget we only beat Nebraska 21-17

Every team has a couple dud games throughout the season. UGA needed a 4th quarter comeback to beat a shitty Missouri team in 2022 and they had the biggest blowout win in NCG history a few months later

I just call it like I see it. I was waiting to see some ultra explosive offense from IU. Granted -- Michigan isn't a slouch defensively, but we played IU with 2nd and 3rd stringers all over the secondary. They had something ridiculous in the 2nd half, like 12 yards?! (Don't quote me on that, but it was really low)

Not legit CFP team should come close to losing to Michigan this year. That is how bad our offense is. Texas and Oregon are CFP teams. They handled Michigan easily. IU is smoke and mirrors. I think Ohio not only beats them, but beats them by alot.

Doesn't matter. Michigan held them to 240 yards at their house and we had guys playing in the secondary that I had to look up to even see who they were.

I think there is a reason IU's HC signed that extension before the Ohio game. I think you guys are going to put a beating on them and he didn't want IU's front office to second guess anything.

LOL ... is that just the dumbest thing that Indiana could have done. They are on tap for 8 years at $8 million. If they get creamed next week and drop out of the CFP that's going to be hilarious. That said, he did great at JMU, so I think he can coach.

You will see. Let Day put that team out there and coach and preach them up and have those young men ready. Indiana might not know the meaning of a team being a buzzsaw. This is going to be like a buzzsaw through melted butter.

I could be wrong, but it has the feeling of the Michigan State, Mel Tucker, knee jerk reaction hiring to finally having some success, but when you truly look at it -- all they have done is beat a bunch of mediocre teams. When Michigan is the best team you have faced -- you have a pathetic schedule this year.

Once the teams who can truly recruit have an semblance of a team -- they will bury Indiana. Props to that coach for getting a huge pay day though.

I knew their IC schedule was terrible, but I read something somewhere where they hadn't played a B1G team in the top 8 of the conference. Meaning they played only teams in the bottom teams of the league.

They had to have him on a 3 or 4 year contract, why not wait to see the end of the season. He wasn't going anywhere.

That was true until Washington won on Saturday to move to 4-4 moving ahead of 3 teams tied at 3-4 into 8th place...now the haven't played anyone in the top 7, lol.

Michigan's defense is more suited for downfield passing games and 1 on 1 matchups (something they've been utilizing against Day's OSU offenses) than short passing games (see Texas, Oregon, Washington games). This team struggles with tackling and has had more missed tackles (89) than they did all of last year (84). They held up pretty well against Indiana. This felt like one of the few games where Wink let his defense actually do their thing instead of getting too cute. The DL had their way with Indiana's OL, and now that OL have to go up against OSU. I don't think it bodes well for IU, unfortunately.

This is the first thought that ran through my mind.

Ohio State hasn't been reliant on the down field strikes bc Howard has struggled with them. He has done well with the crossing routes though and Ohio States receivers are athletic after the catch

We are BAD on offense. I'm not talking about bad for the B1G. I'm not talking bad for P4 schools. I'm talking one of the worst in ALL of CFB.

On top of that -- we have backups all over the secondary. As i said in an earlier post -- we had a guy play against IU that I didn't even know was on the team. We are in the front seat of the struggle bus.

We are of the same mind ... I want to win the SECCG. Also, I don't think the Committee will penalize the CG loser.
I don’t think that is rule written in stone. It really could come down to how you play that game. Lose in OT, no big deal. Lose by 17, hello weedeater bowl
