I can make a trip to the store faster than gross frozen meat can be thawed. And there is absolutely a difference.

Yeah, from the sounds of it, it's some shady AF program operating way outside the boundaries of propriety. Feel bad for the players, honestly. The adults involved can all get fucked.

I don't really feel bad for anyone necessarily. They aren't going to school. It sounds like they're just playing football.

Traveling for work this week, and cooking out this weekend, so I'll have plenty. Have been trying to do meatless meals every once in a while, though
 
I’ve been buying fresh meat since HS. My mom was big on freezing meat. It’s an 80’a thing brought on my the Ziplock people. “Go buy a bunch of fresh food then freeze it for months in our plastic bags!” No thanks.

Then she would just let the chicken thaw in it’s own gross ass chicken water (or beef in its own blood) in the sink all day. Or worse nuke it in the microwave (!!??). Fuck that. I would come home from school, throw that shit out and go buy fresh meat.

If you can’t find 10-20 minutes to go buy fresh food your doing something wrong w your time.

Same w vegetables.
