Well….fuck. 45 minutes ago I just wanted them to make it a closer loss. Now I’m bummed they didn’t pull it out.

It felt right. The energy was back finally. It felt like it was happening between Bobby and Mackenzie. I’m blown away by Mackenzie Milton. You have to take him forward as the starter.

I don’t mean this to sound like the sour grapes it’s going to sound like, but sorry, Irish….you got the win, but you didn’t earn the win tonight. Enjoy it

Milton changed everything but it’s not sustainable and as bad as you think Kelly called/managed a game Norvell was 100% worse.

WTH do you have a 29 year old OC? That rarely works.

ND coached like shit on defense all night outside of like the first couple of series. Then when we got up big we got conservative, played prevent and stopped doing what we did on offense all game.

It's the Mike McCarthy method of coaching...I'm an offensive genius, so when the game is in the balance I'll put it on my D because they're the weak link on the team and I can just fire that guy and make myself another 10 mil...fucking lame ass coaching in my mind
 
The funniest part about Kelly's comment is you could tell he pre-planned to say that McKay execution quote and just forgot what it was right as he was saying.

One could call that bad execution

Milton wasn’t that much of a game changer IMO. He has no mobility and ND was giving too much away on runs.

He’s a better passer than Travis no doubt.

I'm not sure what you said about him tbh. I will say he was the only reason we won. His stats as good as they were don't do it justice given the drops and the hail Mary INT.

It's not about stats, it's about managing a game and making the plays that are there. Nothing spectacular, just takes what is there and doesn't give the game away. If you can play D, run the ball and not fuck it up with stupid shit by the QB, you can win a lot of games.

After watching the game tonight, if somebody fucks a game up, it will be the coaches, not him.

Yep, pretty much. We also tackled like shit too which didn't help. We'll need to be better to beat Cincy, Wisconsin etc...
