GAME 9 Ole Miss @ UF • ABC • now

So Napier gets an extension tomorrow?
Jack Nicholson Yes GIF

I hope to see it. Talk about a roller coaster for him. From "dead man walking" to an extension in the span of a month would be spectacular.

I really hope not...while I'm still not sold on him as a coach, he seems to be getting these kids to work together and actually look like they know how to play football again sorta. I still want him to get a real OC.

Write that into the extension :suds: "Must become a walk-around HC"

Great win for UF.

Does Ole Miss losing change any of the SEC 2-loss tiebreakers?

So nobody is getting fired at Florida, right? 😁

If he can recruit, this may be one time where the buyout clause might help you guys be patient. The main problem you have is that you play the same schedule again next year. But, I have been impressed ... you played us well, and beat LSU and OM. It helps that FSU sucks, but 7-5 had to be the ceiling most had on you this year, many saw 3-9, 4-8. He needs to get out and get recruiting.

Congrats and thanks ... that and Indiana losing they way they did move us up 2 spots, at least.

KTg8trgrl we did it!!

Oh look… another team Texas beat beat one of those teams we “avoided” with our “easy” schedule. That makes five times now, yes?

Buddy, you know what happens when UGA and Texas play a game that actually matters. Simmer down

That makes UGA hosting a first round game far more likely

Still behind Bama and need to get up to #6 in the rankings
Right now, we are 8th after the IU and OM losses. But that means we would be 9th in the bracket. That would be the worst because you play away, and then the e no. 1 team. That said, if we are going to play UO/tOSU I'd rather play it earlier rather than later. Win that game and now you have the advantage, and you likely have to play them at some point.

- Need to beat GaTech
- Need PSU to lose to Minny today
- Need Army to beat ND
- Need ATM to lose to Auburn, then beat Texas OR ATM beat Texas and then lose the SECCG to Bama
- Need Bama to lose to OU or Auburn
- Need Miami to lose to Syracuse

I could also see us at 8, behind the B1G champ, ND and PSU, but ahead of the SEC loser, even if I don't think that is the correct thing to do. The SEC loser would have to be A&M or Texas. Even though we have H2H on Texas, I don't believe in punishing the loser of the B1G/SEC CCG.
