This years OD game meltdown thread. Spoiler, the UW/WSU thread had better OD action, but this is still worthy of a 'closer look'
You can feel the excitement here as his far-fetched notion of a Duck playoff berth seems just a bit closer.
Already in the late game meltdown by the team, but he's still strong in the defense. Still spelling words without smashing the KB at this point.
Maybe a hint of questioning the team's effort here? Almost feel the second guessing, but probably not.
Think he's more or less trying to convince himself here more than others, but holding faith!
OK, the tides have turned a bit. Starting the all caps and missed letters, but not quite smashing keys. Probably rushing a bit though.
You can sort of feel the nervous twitch in this post as he's still trying to hold onto that last gasp of hope.
Not quite over yet, but nearly came to terms with reality. STILL DOING THE CAPS THING and only just overshot the H key a bit. Not quite there yet...
OK, now we get to the heart of this years meltdown. Over/undershot several letters, but still hitting neighboring keys. It's not quite smashing KB, but he's clearly coming unglued. Then he goes silent for quite a while. This was all we really got from the immediate aftermath (a bit disappointing TBH)
Right, so back a bit later to tell us why/how this atrocity happened! CAPS AND BLAME!!!
He's stewing in the rumor of the OC leaving to ASU and you can feel it a bit, but still not quite up to his normal meltdown standards here. This years effort left us wanting a bit.
Not happy with the reactions, but weak effort to counter it. He's spent... for now
Angry and looking for the Cougs to salvage what little of their CCG hopes were still left.
As of this writeup, the AP has UW at #9.
Even the sour grapes to end this thread were kind of underwhelming.
I'd have to give this entire effort only a 5 out of 10. No real marquee quotes, lackluster anger. Kind of matched the effort by the team. Maybe UW really already partially broke him?
Right now I'd probably put the later effort in the UW/WSU thread at a 7 out of 10, but I could be convinced it was only a 6. Time will tell if any of his posts reach long-term quote status.
