A Blessed Thursday

Apparently the biggest thing is 15-20 minutes of close contact. If your clients generally stayed away from you while you were there, you probably were fine.

Wifey was flipping her shit during the first Summer of COVID. We had workers in our basement on a daily basis, at one point there was a legit three-generation family doing the drywall mudding. We were hardly ever in the basement when workers were there, and we've kept with having air purifiers running 24/7 in the house (which made me less miserable during allergy season, as a side benefit). No one in our house has caught it yet.
Right, but I go through and turn on every faucet and open every drawer, and touch everything that everyone touches everyday.

Like I said, I am pretty careful, and always have been, but that pretty close actual contact with people, even if not directly

Slight disappointment today, as I won't get to interview the person who submitted his or her resume with only the name "Madison" on it and got through the HR screening. Guess I'll just have to wait and see where this heavy hitter ends up.

Years ago, I got a resume from someone whose e-mail (on their resume) was something like “[email protected]

the girl that cuts your hair is named John? seems an odd name for a lass.

that is what the name of the new guy who charges $50 for a haircut+

but it isn't spread through physical contact, so that shouldn't matter

Haven't come across one of those yet. My wife's cousin is in HR, and he's got quite a few stories of turning down applicants with emails like "sexygirl696942069".
buncha prudes.

I didn’t interview her but I did look her up on LinkedIn. Fat ginger chick.

Sad trombone.

well, if nothing else, you wouldn't have to check the references she put down.

I remember seeing an article on it earlier in the year...maybe that was fake news?
I guess the report that it is low or difficult to tie to the spread of COVID

Because of the many factors affecting the efficiency of environmental transmission, the relative risk of fomite transmission of SARS-CoV-2 is considered low compared with direct contact, droplet transmission, or airborne transmission 1, 2. However, it is not clear what proportion of SARS-CoV-2 infections are acquired through surface transmission. There have been few reports of COVID-19 cases potentially attributed to fomite transmission 1, 2. Infections can often be attributed to multiple transmission pathways. Fomite transmission is difficult to prove definitively, in part because respiratory transmission from asymptomatic people cannot be ruled out 3, 4, 5. Case reports indicate that SARS-CoV-2 is transmitted between people by touching surfaces an ill person has recently coughed or sneezed on, and then directly touching the mouth, nose, or eyes 3, 4, 5. Hand hygiene is a barrier to fomite transmission and has been associated with lower risk of infection 6.

that source doesn't seem very powerful, i shall consult with a second source.

COVID is caused by everything or nothing. It can be cured by everything or nothing. Depends on the source you quote. :bored2:
