We usually have a wet and chilly Christmas here in Louisiana. It's never snowed on Christmas day in my lifetime here in South Louisiana that I can recall.

Of the 50+ Christmases that I've been alive for, two thirds were probably cold and wet.

But not this year! This year it's going to be different!

Hi all. Wishing you all the best...even the filthy dongers and pokes.

This weather is really fucking with me. Woke to 60+ degrees...gonna be in mid 80's here today. Had to take two lortabs this morning for my back. Drank like a fish last night and it didn't help alleviate much of the pain. Slept like shit.

...but I'm gonna buck up and do all the things. Will have 20+ ppl in my house tomorrow, all my wife's fam. Getting the smoker prepped and firepit ready even though we won't need it.

Going this evening for my annual volunteer work.

Remember the reason for the season. Jesus was all about helping those less fortunate, for at least a few days of the year be Jesus' tool here on Earth. Don't judge. Just lift people up.
