That was great. I firmly believe a strong solar storm wiping the digital age clean is a very possible even in the next decade.

A cool aspect of all this is how the Mayans weren't wrong - only the goobers focused on their calendar focused attention in the wrong place.
 
People have been falling for "The End Is Near!" proclamations since the beginning of time.

It's a story that always seems to find an eager audience.

The part where he showed the path of the polar shift to date is so out of scale it's tantamount to fantasy.

The scale of so many things is out of concept for so many because they keep showing things so far out of their true size and scale.

It makes videos containing some facts, as this one certainly does, believable even though they also contain outstanding claims and huge assumptions to validate the outcomes they predict.

In short it is all just too unbelievable. As Carl Sagan said, Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence!
