The sequel to A Quiet Place was originally scheduled to release on Friday, March 20, 2020, but delayed by covid over a year to Friday, May 28, 2021.

i gotta say, a quiet place was one of the last movies i saw in the theater and it was the right place to see it, don't know if the sequel will have that same sense of no hearing, won't watch the trailer, but man, it was a good watch in the theatre with the sound (or lack there of).

Im concerned the novel aspect of the quiet thriller won’t be there for the second movie (like the Dad). But, I’ll check it out. I can watch Emily Blunt act anytime. I’m at least curious because the first one was so good.

did you catch the first one in the theatre? I watch most things online, but the way the sound was done in that movie, man, i feel like watching it in the theatre vastly improved my experience.
 
Me likey.... I will definitely see this. Nice to see Cillian Murphy in it too, he is a good actor.

No, didn’t see it in theatre....but I imagine it was phenomenal.

I did. It was definitely different. You hear the other audience members much easier. People scream or whatever and it is much louder since the movie itself is so quiet. And the way it is filmed, it kinda makes you want to be quiet too. Like digging around a bag of popcorn or something would be frowned upon in that movie lol. I caught myself chewing slowly and softly lol.
 
well, $4 for an IMAX ticket via T-Mobile Tuesdays, one of the last I saw in the theaters and will be my first in a long time.
 
Saw it in the theater last night. Pretty good sequel. I'm betting there'll be a 3rd movie.

Btw, the fucking covid popcorn (cooked god knows when and in a huge zip lock bag) sucked.
 
didn't hit the same as the first for me, but what can you do. really cemented the timeline of the first and day 1 was wild, so the fact they still chose to get pregnant over 100 days in of that... terrible. also feel like there would be more radio communication between people than there is. the fucking dock community was so stupid. so their plan is to catch a guy in a trap sure to bring about one of those aliens?
