I guess I should rephrase that he's the head of a tier in support. His boss is the decision maker and that guy definitely wasn't getting hired based on her comments.

I'm trying to train a guy on how to do my job. Not that what I do is incredibly difficult, but this cat just doesn't have the skill set, and I feel bad because he's getting set up to fail.

Dude barely knows how to use formulas in Excel, because he doesn't have to. Now he's suddenly expected to be able to run pivot tables and VLOOKUPs?

Fucked up shit this company is pulling.
