My wife was upset when the Packers traded Adams because she is a die hard Packers fan. My in-laws have accepted the fact I'm a Cowboys fan but I do think highly of Rodgers.Close. Not bad.

Nothing.But...
What does that have to do with Douglas Adams?
You missed your opening. The answer is 42.Nothing.
Bravo...You missed your opening. The answer is 42.
It's okay to admit that you grew up a Cowboys fan but have since become a Packers fan. People already know it to be the case, but you're resisting to admit it so people keep calling bullshit on you for everything. You're doing this to yourself. My wife was upset when the Packers traded Adams because she is a die hard Packers fan. I'll admit the Packers have become my 2nd favorite team but I won't tell my dad that as he is an avid Cowboys fan. I grew up rooting for the Cowboys but have been to quite a few Packers games since moving to the Green Bay area. Packers fans are passionate about their team but have treated me with respect when I tell them I'm a Cowboys fan. When the Cowboys play the Packers I don't watch the game with my wife for obvious reasons. It's okay to admit that you grew up a Cowboys fan but have since become a Packers fan. Aside from that, die hard Packers fans are not tied to players; they're tied to the organization and focus on what's best for the organization long-term. Sure, we root for the players wearing the uniform; but people who get upset about specific players coming and going aren't really die hard Packer fans, they're player fans or casual fans. Women tend to get more attached to specific players than men do. I'm not saying she won't get over losing Adams quickly if she in fact is a die hard Packers fan, but if she buys a Raiders Adams jersey you better give her a ton of shit about it.
Is she a poor winner?I'll admit the Packers have become my 2nd favorite team but I won't tell my dad that as he is an avid Cowboys fan. I'm in a similar situation with my wife. She grew up in MI and is a Lions fan. I don't watch GB-DET games with her. Neither of us has adopted each other's football teams because of the division rivalry, but we support each other's teams to a point. Same with the Badgers and Wolverines.I'll admit the Packers have become my 2nd favorite team but I won't tell my dad that as he is an avid Cowboys fan. Cardinals and White Sox for us.I'm in a similar situation with my wife. She grew up in MI and is a Lions fan. I don't watch GB-DET games with her. Brewers and Tigers are more adopted for both of us - where she's willing to wear Brewers gear and I'm willing to wear Tigers gear when we go to games.
She doesn't rub it in when the Packers beat the Cowboys. Is she a poor winner?
Haha. To be clear, if the Brewers and Tigers happen to be playing against each other, there ain't no "Brewers cap & Tigers shirt" shit happening that day. That's rivalry day. I've got my Brewers shit on and she's got her Tigers shit on.
