ACC and PAC are Discussing a Partnership

Is it me, or does it seem like nobody really wants Oregon?
It'll be the SEC.

USC and UCLA, after getting owned by us for years and us stealing their recruits, probably told the B1G they didn't want us to join. USC and UCLA are desperately trying to rebuild and fend off the invasion of Oregon into So Cal and all of California. They hope the move to the B1G is the move they needed to make to successfully move ahead of us.

Oregon is the girl in the green shirt playing musical chairs

That's exciting when do you expect the announcement?

Seriously Brah, here's where I'm coming from:

The Big Ten, if they wanted you, would already have you. And Washington.

The Big Xii is not going to pursue you, because they know that if the BiG ever DID come after you and Washington, you'd bolt.

Makes no sense geographically to add you to any of the east coast leagues. The SEC doesn't need you and the ACC would have a hard time making it work with the travel schedules.

MWC for you.

Worse case scenario for Oregon is they stay in the PAC and hold it up by themselves and routinely win the conference and get into the playoff year after year. Sort of like how Oklahoma dominated the Big12 or Clemson and the ACC.

Then these happened.

Oregon's happened AFTER that happened.

Riley beat Oregon anyway...
1-1 and the one in Nebraska was due to us shooting ourselves in the foot with going for 2. Also that was the worst Oregon team in over 10 years.

It was the gayest thing in sports I’ve ever heard of anyways
Not going to argue about that but it looks like the big ten used it as an excuse to talk to them and be like “usc ucla we need to fight the SEC and their dirty tactics. BTW we seen the PAC tv deal, you want to come make some real cash?”

They won't go somewhere where they would have to play Boise every season

Oregon beat a 4-8 Nebraska team. Lol. Congrats on your big win.

PAC might not survive so that’s not the worst case scenario. Worst case is you guys wait it out and have to go the Big 12 after everyone else has and you end up signing a GOR that you really didn’t want because you have no choice.

The smart move is to be proactive and try to manipulate terms with the Big 12 on the frontend.

The best move would be to try a form a whole new conference that wasn’t tied to any network deal and cherry pick from both the PAC and Big 12 but I’m not sure that is even possible.
