Actors/Actresses You Think Always Deliver

Who are some actors that regardless if a movie itself is oscar worthy or pure fucking trash, they in bring quality to their role?

Two huge ones for me:

Ben Foster and Jon Bernthal. Both singlehandedly can make trash movies watchable for them.
 
Patrick Warburton - He's got one role type, but has perfected it
Rob Riggle - the same as above, but when I see him show up in a movie I know the character is going to be funny
 
John Wayne
Clint Eastwood
Burt Reynolds
Adam Sandler

If I were to make a top 100 movies list, I’d estimate at least 85 of them would feature one of those 4

I'd agree with Bernthal, Foster is still hit or miss for me sometimes.

I may be looking at this as underrated actors (even though some have won awards), but I would add...

I really havent seen much with Foster where hes off his game. Got some shaky choices though. But hes gotta about 5 performances that are not just home runs but moon shots.

Your list is great too. Rockwell and Murphy are pretty mainstream though(not that I technically specified). But those two along with Shannon and Dano are always incredible.

discovered them both there, but since then I have not seen a show they are on that I didn't like.

maybe except for Vice Principals...I am not a huge Danny McBride fan...at least wasn't for that.

but I love them both in Righteous Gemstones.

I loved Grandma's Boy

but just can't like Sandler's humor anymore.

and you eventually grow out of liking his earlier stuff...it just doesn't age well.

and Little Nicky was terrible.
