Adopting a dog or get from breeder?

Yeah if i look to adopt if the dog is a puppy or younger than 1 year old it's usually a pit bull mix and the bio says not good with other dogs, kids, homes, people.
 
Can I ask the shelter if the dog is up on all of it's vaccinations including the COVID vaccine?

Talk to a vet first. Learn if the breed you want is suitable for your available time and size of your house/yard. Get the vet to recommend a local breeder that is reputable.

Another thing to consider is do you want to pick up dog shit every day? My dog shits so much I’m convinced other dogs and possibly people are also shitting in my yard because it’s everywhere and I pick it up every morning. Completely out of control.
 
You're gonna have the dog for 10+ years.....Don't take the chance on a fucked up one.

Contact some local vets and tell them what you are looking for and to call you if they hear of something.

They will want to place an animal and get your business.
