Seems morbid to think about but does your son ask tenants for first month/last month up front?

Week before Christmas a friend of mine in Texas lost his parents and brother in a crash that almost killed him too. Same deal, on-coming car (drunk driver) crossed the dividing line. Scary how you can be minding your own business like that…

I know what you mean about morbid. Already on my calendar to call my son's lawyer today. Not to bad mouth the dead, but these folks took full advantage of the eviction moratorium and are about 4 grand in arrears.

Well that is sad to hear all the way around. I feel for the family that is impacted by the loss. But your son, like many other property owners in the country were screwed out of income with that moratorium

Watched the C's end the city of Philly last night. Sad to see a city with such a great history of overrated food and horse shit eating come to an end. But they had a great run.

RIP 1682-2022
They deserved it.

We lowered the rent on our rental by $200/month for our renters in March 2020 when stuff shut down. We got lucky that they paid every month.
