A group of Alabama fans appeared to shout racist remarks at Texas players during the team’s Saturday loss.

A troubling video surfaced Sunday night of four Texas players on the team’s sideline being harassed and shouted at in disturbing fashion by fans that were presumably cheering for Alabama.

Warning: some might find the language below disturbing.

An unidentified male could be heard in the video shouting, “You’re a f*cking f*ggot. You guys are all f*ggots. Go back back to the projects, f*ggot. Go back to the projects.” Other people near the recording were also shouting at the players, but the loud unidentified male seemed to be leading the charge.

None of the Texas players appeared to say anything in return, but simply danced and threw up the horns.

I found this to be perplexing because in my experience a high percentage of Alabama fans are in the closet anyway.

it's not the older Bama fans.. actually anyone 30/35 plus.. it's the young guys.. we lined up where the busses for UT were arriving. This young guy was saying F Texas over and over.. he came up to me and my 2 friends.. we talked and tried to calm him down and talk roster, Xs and Os. I left to get in line for some more beer.. my one buddy stayed with him.. we all meet up and I asked what happened to the kid.. My friend said we talked ten minutes.. he was fine.. well next thing you know he get's punched in the crowd, then gets arrested

sorority row or whatever that portion was.. young bama students were yelling horns down..but like screaming it as UT fans were walking along the sidewalk.. we just shrugged..even the security guard was doing horns down the whole time.. I just jokingly said.. aren't you working right now..save that for your 15 min break

But overall the people were terrific.. young people will be young
