I will watch and I will root for Texas, but this doesn’t set up well for Texas at all. Freshmen OT vs a top 3 pick. Ewers showed he is really talented last week, but he was also late on most of his reads. The game speed is only going to increase. I think I would take Bijan to have more receiving yards, than rushing yards. He is arguably the best RB in the country, but he will need some room to show that. For Texas to compete Ewers is going to have to play a hell of a game. That migh happen in week 5, but it’s asking a lot in week 2 vs one of the best defenses in the country

I heard the same last year and he ended up not even being the best RB in his conference.

Are we talking about the guy who had great 1st half's of games, but then they would pull him for some unknown reason, and he never showed up in any 2nd half ???

I think Bama covers… Will Anderson might take a couple of handoffs in the backfield from the Texans offense. I don’t see any way that either Texas tackles will stop either one of these (Anderson & Dallas Turner).

If Bama can shut down that Texas running game it may be a very long day for the Longhorns.

Can someone tell me what we can expect out of the longhorn defense?

Not sure he wasn’t. It was between him and Breece Hall. Keep in mind Breece Hall was the first RB selected in the NFL draft, so that is really isn’t much of a knock. People confuse RB production with OL production. It’s why I said Bijan might struggle to run the ball. I believe he led the Big 12 in yards after contact last year. Hoping he doesn’t have to do that this year.
