GAME Alabama @ Texas A&M 8pm eat CBS

It's never cool when bama loses, we then have to read about fan murders for not taking the loss hard enough.
Nah, we'll be fine. Bama can't win a NC every year, and two-loss seasons are rare enough to be considered losing seasons.

Good thing Bama doesn't lose very often. Looks like their fans really get upset when they lose.

That being said -- I think this is the year Georgia gets over that hump. They just look unreal on defense.

I do really, really hate losing. 😕

I didn’t see the game. How does Bama play a team giving up a pressure on 35% on its drop backs and not get a sack? What’s up with the DL , Lion?

Anyone see the booth cam from the Alabama radio call at the end of the game? It was pretty funny. He announces the kick is up then just silence for a good 20-30 seconds before saying A&M is going to get fined for rushing the field.

Came across a feed of mine and now I can't find it. I'll see if I can get a link

Here it is

It's been a great run... Jimbo wins the lottery.

Bama lost a game, it's happened before. They have a lot of football left to play. I hope like hell they sort some things out from film. We couldn't pick up their blitz, we ran the ball fairly well, our defense is a shadow of past defenses. Lots to work on but we still in this thang. aTm had a great game plan & congrats to them & the 12th Man.

Yesterday was one of the worst days for the state of Alabama overall in sports that I can remember in a while. The only upside for me was that Troy won, but that's not much of a consolation because it means Chip Lindsey will be the HC for a lil longer after wasting one of the better defenses we ever had.

You know... I think Saban is on some pretty heavy attitude medication these days. I figured a sideline blow up could've happened at any time yesterday.

Bama will be fine. I'm not sure this wasn't just a bad game for them and that they won't bounce back and play damn good football the rest of the year. Don't think they will lost another game in the regular season then they get to play Georgia in the SEC championship for the chance to make it in.

Bama seems to have trouble facing hostile road crowds this year.

Most surprising loss for Bama under Saban.

Bama will be fine, but Bama has had bad games in the past and beat better teams than they played last night.

There are a lot of glaring issues that won't get fixed in the middle of the season, some should have been addressed years ago. I could see Alabama dropping at least 1, maybe 2 more games this year.

I will be interested to see what Saban does in the offseason.

The answer to Bama's defense is the incompetence of a man named Pete Golding. He's the DC who successfully transformed Bama's defense into the level of incompetency we now see, including an inability to pass-rush without blitzes, secondaries that can be picked apart by even okay quarterbacks, and defensive schemes that work only against sub-par offenses.

How he is still employed at Alabama is beyond me.

What's new and has nothing to do with Golding is Bama's woes on offense with their o-line, which I think they will fix with time.

Does Lord Saban no longer have his hand in the D planning?

A&M has had issues this year but it's been execution. They are certainly not lacking talent

He micromanages from time to time, but for the most part he allows Golding to make defensive play-calls.

We all (except apparently for Saban himself) see the results.

A lack of defense in college football this season. Only a few teams play good defense.
