They're not cheating this year.

But, I think the Rays still have a good shot. They're in far better shape for a game 7 than the 2004 Yankees were. The Yankees had a past his prime Kevin Brown backed up by Javier Vazquez, who was in a low spot in his career. Red Sox had a prime Derek Lowe pitching with Pedro Martinez coming in relief.

The Rays have Charlie Morton, and Glasnow can go a couple innings as well.

The Rays will need to get their offense going again for any of that to matter, but the Series was over for the Yankees when they lost game 6, that's not the case for the Rays.
