That’s what happens when your coach leaves randomly in February and you graduate like 13 dudes to the nfl lol. Harbaugh under recruited for the last two years and we’re reaping the rewards of that now. All his chips were in that senior class.

Harbaugh basically refusing to recruit the last couple of years is how you ended up with this. Hilarious that you all refuse to say a negative word about him.

well yes. But we also won a national title. So im good with it. I’m currently wearing a national title sweatshirt that I never thought I’d be able to see/own. I’d wouldn’t trade anything for that. That was the best 3 years as a football fan I’ve ever experienced. I wish we were better but I understand why we’re not.

Hopefully our NIL push can balance things moving forward so we limit these kind of seasons.

This is not normal for a national title team to be this bad the next year. LSU tanked in the COVID year after their 2019 title but I don’t really count that. Auburn was a bad 8-4 the year after they won with Scam Newton but before that you gotta go all the way to Penn State in the 80s to find a worse defending champ.
 
This is some criminally bad coaching by Michigan

Run up the middle on 3rd and 7…..not so they could maybe set up to go for it on 4th and 4, they take a delay and punt anyway. Lol!
