Well it's Wednesday...

Only good thing is that no one decided to go into the office so I am working from home today....

If I am not mistaken all the away Teams won in the play-offs yesterday

The Brewers still can't win a playoff game.

I was hoping to see the Mets in the first round matchup because - well, they're the Mets... and the Brewers went 5-1 against them this season. Apparently the Brewers' postseason ineptness trumps the Mets being the Mets.

Who signs Davante Adams?

My guess it comes down between the Jets and Chiefs

So...not about being bummed for runing out of wine.

Watching the Detroit @ Houston game sucked because I don't want either team to win.

I have strong dislike for Houston's cheating, shitbag team, so I'd like them to lose, but the Indians face the winner so I also want the Tigers to lose because I think they're the better team.

I was pretty happy when the KC/BAL game started.

I was so happy to see the Astros lose!

Davante isn't a free agent; he's still under contract with the Raiders. There's an optional "out" in his contract after this season, but if the team doesn't exercise it they're on the hook for about $15M in dead cap next year OR they're on the hook for Davante at like $40M+ for a couple more years. If he gets traded, it'll be a difficult move to pull off.

Re: Chiefs - Would the Raiders trade him to a division rival who has recently won several Super Bowls?

Re: Jets - Do the Jets have cap space to take on another player with a bloated contract? If they try, they'd likely have to send a large contract plus draft picks to the Raiders in return. The idiots have already mortgaged enough of their future for "win now" and bringing in Davante would be doubling down on that. There's no question there would be mutual interest, but realism might intervene.
