As a Tigers fan, it's very foreign to me to have baseball on at the same time college football is going on. Outside of when I was an infant and they made the playoffs in 1987, I've experienced this exactly 6 times. They've missed the playoffs 31 times outside of that. Like, holy hell. Between the Lions and Tigers what a brutal stretch of post season performance (or lack thereof).

Love this time of year for sports. College & Pro Football. CFL deciding playoff spots. Then NBA preseason and college hoop fans getting ready for the season to begin. Hockey with NHL preseason and college with exhibition or opening series of the year. MLB playoffs an option if things aren't going right in other sports. Plus racing & soccer is going on.

That Phillies game was definitely a rollercoaster.

Dad went into the hospital Friday, apparently he needs his gallbladder out. Thankfully he didn't let it get as bad as my mother-in-law did with her gallbladder, and he should be getting it out today.

I def need the Phils to not do that again with their next game.

the Yanks game was more of the same. There's been some good baseball going on
 
That's good to have something to look forward to after spending so much at repair shop... Get to go back all over again on Thursday and spend even more money..

Why am I incapable of hitting the bullseye? First dart was online, but to the left, 2nd dart was online but low ,3rd dart was almost there. Fucking ridiculous grouping when I go for the bullseye.

Apparently the surgeon is worried about my dad's heart health and the surgery. I guess there's a concern that he won't hold up long enough for the laparoscopy, and they need to cut him open to get it out. Hopefully it's nothing.
