I'd like too, but another place Mrs Pnk is leery on, her food pallet is more simple.

But their current menu has dry aged duck breast

in North Carolina i realized I need to give oysters more of a try
I love oysters. I get them pretty much anytime they are on a menu. I bought a shucker set about a month ago. Now need to get to the seafood shop and give them a try at home.

They have a couple early reservation slots on Friday, which is unusual...next available reservation isn't until August 9th. But I'm not sure Mr. Kobe can get off work early to get there in time. I need him to get off his meeting and let me know the earliest he can be done with work.

Raw is the best way. A little horseradish, lemon, and cocktail sauce. I'll take them cooked as well, but prefer them raw.

We went to the Gnome Pub on Saturday. Food was meh. Tons of beer options though. Last night was HH. Dive bar on Sunday after we golfed. Need to figure what to do for tonight.

growing up my exposure was only to oyster stew at christmas, was where oysters cooked in a cream/butter broth popular, I never much cared for it.

I'm regretting not getting a fried oyster po boy in NC, maybe Mrs Pnk and I will get back to coast this fall or winter

not sure, but most places bar areas aren't via reservation, but couldn't say for sure

I like Gnome, but mainly for the patio.

I find their food good but not great, I see what you're saying. Plus they do a lot for community, so I continue to support them
