My wife calls them "first world problems" and in the grand scheme, some things are such an annoying PITA. Just had one happen to me...the fuse on my multimeter went out. At least that's what I suspected, doubt I torched the whole thing. So I pop the back off and pull the fuse but can't test it because my multimeter is out. Not worth it to go to dig around to find my old one to use, so just jumped from one side to the other and ohmed the leads out to see the meter still works.
But that was a stupid little annoying thing, when the thing you need to do a test is what is broken and needing testing
