I never ran staff meetings. They're useless unless the corporation has something important to say. I would hold a 10 minute DMM (Daily morning meeting) in my office (bring your coffee) simply to find out what everyone was working on that day and who needed the collective wisdom of the team at large. We would often talk about last nights hockey game in the end. The ladies would roll their eyes and leave laughing.

You can never get time back. And free time is the most valuable thing that we have.
