Summer is winding down. Still haven't been able to get a trip to the shore in. The hurricane made the water a mess this past weekend. Maybe next weekend.

Ham was the only girl in her age group in a baseball hitting contest and won. So she's now a state champion.

My parents celebrated 52 years of wedded bliss yesterday. In-laws celebrated their 54th earlier last week, as well.

Survived wiffleball days. Buck won't have any friends spend the night for awhile. Had to take both home at 2AM Sunday morning. One gets a pass as he was sick, the other has pulled his crap for the last time. He's almost to the point where he may not even come over period.

Super Moonday

Crummy day here

waiting for 10 am so I can check in for my SW flight

Gonna be a super moon for me tonight. Clouds be damned!!

morning all. Final night of lawn bowling tonight

Saturday went to Wisconsin to help my FIL. my MIL came over to help as well, it was like herding cats at times to keeping people on task. We were going to paint garage door and mow the back yard, I mowed backyard which was mostly tall weeds so I started with weed whip, then I took two passes with the mower, it was long and wet, so very clumpy and left huge piles of grass, but was better than before

I was supposed to interview someone today, he emailed me this morning he wasn't feeling well and asked to reschedule, so I rescheduled for Wednesday morning

I didn't have strong feeling before interview and his hill to climb just got steeper

Last week I took the garden tractor over some terrain that looked like the jungles in Nam. Fingers crossed I didn't do any damage. Took that shit down like nothing. I got bold and went through areas where I couldn't see any ground so no idea what I was going over. Machine never bogged down. No change in blade speed or anything. Scares me cause now I got the courage to mow areas that will fuck up the machine.

Yeah, we cleaned up the in-laws' house a bit yesterday. My FIL never got around to finishing mounting the CO detector in their hallway, so I did that, then cleaned their wood floors, and then pulled a bunch of weeds out of their flower beds.

At least he let you know he was sick.. Though a phone call is what should have happened!

Not just a supermoon. A supermoon blue moon.

Agreed.

Electronic communication is lowest form of acceptability in this scenario. If a young person I almost get it. It is what they do. Not right, but they haven't been taught old school.

in his defense, I never check my office phone so that would've stunk for him

if the kids want to bounce, shouldn't it be on their parents to pick them up?

had a good weekend with the lady friend out of town
hit up happy hour on Friday night
golfed Saturday (had a pretty good front 9, but fell apart on the back)
spent all day yesterday cleaning. Mopped the floors, mowed the lawn, did some random cleaning around the kitchen and windows, washed the dog...it was a good day.

no, same one

I've got too much invested in this one

Ok, just making sure could have sworn you actually liked this one
