Got a letter from my Primary Provider announcing she is retiring effective 12/31/2021. Merry Christmas.

She recommends that I get someone in the Geriatrics Department to continue my care. Fuck. And to think I put her kids through college.
 
I was at my cardiologist's office talking to him about hunting in a reserve here called Tunica Hills. It is well named as it is just a series of hills, up and down and up and down.

I'm looking at this old fucking gray haired bald dude with amazement that he can do all that at his advanced age so I asked him how old he is.....

Mine took a job in another state in administration because he wouldn't get vaccinated.

I went to an endocrinologist for a year or so that I first went to sight unseen. Did not match what I was expecting from the name at all :laugh:

For Medicare patients, they NOW call an "Annual Physical" an "Annual Medicare Wellness Checkup"... Maybe "annual physical" wasn't PC enough?? :noidea:

They pay for both. The Wellness Check is basically a meeting with your doc, the physical is down and dirty.

Yeah, well... it's a "physical" for me and it says Annual Medicare Wellness Check on my med records. :noidea:

I was thinking maybe she was named after someone's great-grandfather because promises were made and she was an only child but I didn't ask. But I suspect that it's actually just short for some long female name that has "bar" somewhere in it.

She's also way too tiny to have been born XY as I recall.
