Mad dad is laid up after knee replacement surgery, so I’m having to tend to his roosters and foxes have been slaughtering them.
I’ve trapped a couple, but I found 3 dens in the woods behind their house. Tried to flush em out with m90’s and shoot ‘em when they exit, but they either weren’t home or the explosion wasn’t enough to scare them out.
And they’re getting too smart for steel traps. I tied a bait hen up and surrounded it with steel traps. Fuckers got the hen and didn’t even trip one of the traps
Other than doing an all night stake out and blasting the fuckers, is there a good way to lure em in for an ambush or make em leave on their own?
They seem to be a lot smarter than the coyotes. Foxes used to be a pretty rare sight, but the fuckers are everywhere these days. I’m guessing they took hold in those woods because me, my dad and my brother pretty well eliminated coyotes from the area
