With College basketball right around the corner I’m seeing if there is any interest in a College basketball pick em.

Thanks but not interested. Since CBB is right around the corner did you know the Tar Heels...

-gave Coach Kruzawooooski his first ever conference loss

-beat him in his final game at camrun indoor outhouse

-and ended his career at the Final Four

That's all time bragging rights.

It would be great if dook's new HC makes the program irrelevant in a year or two.

FYI,

Coach K has more wins and titles than Dean
Coach K has more wins and titles than Roy.
Coach K has more wins and titles than Hoobert.

And ALWAYS WILL.

It's gotta sting how Kruzawooooski's career ended. Losing his final home game and having his career ended at the Final Four by his hated rival. That was the single biggest Carolina/dook game ever. And the Tar Heels sent Coach K into retirement with what has to be the one loss that will bother him forever.

The stuff you mentioned. Congrats on the moral victories. Those are always nice when your longtime coach had his career ended in the worst way imaginable.

It would be funny of dook's new HC fails to win 20 games this season. Don't see that happening. But it would be a good laugh.

Moral victories? Well, I guess Coach K will have the MOST EVER WINS over those with MORAL LOSSES too. BTW, when you're ranked #1(Pre-Season) there's no way to go except down so get ready for some ass whippings Tar Babies. Yuck it up with all the preseason accolades since having everybody back still doesn't win you an ACC Title, regular season or tourney like last year. Manek won't be standing out at the three point line to bail you out this season.

Coach Kruzawooooski's record vs. the Tar Heels is 50-50. Probably the only team he coached against more than 2 or 3 times that he doesn't have a winning record against.

You mentioned Dean Smith in a different comment. Are you familiar with his HOF coaching tree? Multiple coaches. Coach K's coaching tree must have broken limbs because he's never had an assistant really do anything as a coach.

And Carolina's all time starting five would be better than anything dook has.

Did you know Carolina ended Coach K's career at the Final Four? Just a reminder. All time bragging rights!

All time, anytime, every time, bragging rights? I'd say having the winningest program ever in the history of college basketball would be. 1202 total wins. How many does Roy have? Against Coach K he went 19-23 or did you forget? I can see Roy still crying and saying, "I love my team".

K has FIVE NCAA Titles and SIX Gold Medal Championships. How many former Chump Hill players are in the NBA? Go ahead. I'll wait.

Yes all time bragging rights.

The Tar Heels ended Kruzawooooki's career at Final Four. That was the single biggest game in the history of the rivalry. And your team lost.

How many former dook players are in the HOF? Not as many as Carolina. And I bet Tar Heels players have more NBA titles than dook players all time.

Larry Brown's from the Dean Smith coaching tree. He has an NCAA & NBA championship. So which former dook player has coached teams to an NCAA & NBA title? None. Roy Williams, from the Dean Smith coaching tree, has three titles. So which former dook player has coached a team to a CBB title? None.

And always remember...

-Tar Heels gave Coach K his first conference loss

-beat him in his final home game

-and ended his career at the Final Four

So what? Mike Krzyzewski will always be known as the “Winningest Coach EVER”. What will Dean be known as? The one who started the “No Show Classes” cheating scandal. Congrats on that ewenc.

Hey keep responding and I'll keep laughing at you. Kruzawooooski's great career was ended in the worst way possible. Even the craziest of dook fans, like yourself, can't deny that.

Dean has a better career winning percentage. .776 to .766.

And Dean had one losing season as a coach, his first. Then 35 consecutive winning seasons. Coach K had multiple losing seasons at two places.

Smith won at least 20 games 27 years in a row. Kruzawooooski won at least 20 games only 24 years in a row.

One more thing. Dean Smith never lobbied for an entire season to be cancelled because his team wasn't good. Coach K did that during the '20-'21 season when he guided dook to a 13-11 record. Article- coach k hints at shutting down season after dook's slow start.

Just pathetic that he wanted the season shutdown because his team sucked that season.

I never knew a simple pickem contest could become so heated.

I'm having a good time. Always nice to remind dook fans how Coach K's career ended. It was just about the worst possible ending to his incredible career.

Frank McGuire Cheated and was penalized with NCAA Violations.
Dean Smith - Cheated as Assistant Coach to McGuire then as Head Coach Cheating since 1993 with No Show Classes and $100 handshakes.
Bill Guthridge - Cheated as Assistant to Dean Smiff.
Matt Doherty - Called out for cheating by his own players. His sister even called out Sylvia Hatchell on the women's team for cheating. She was put on probation for cheating too. She saw the men doing it so why not the women?
Roy Williams, Continued Cheating during his career at Chump HILL.

The short answer,

The Carolina Way.

douggie

You got some explaining to do. You might have made some shit up. Can you post something legit (not your biased opinion of things) to back these claims up?

-Bill Guthridge cheated (exactly how?)

-Matt Doherty's was called out by his own players for cheating? Interesting. Then how do you explain this?

Doherty's departure came after 2 1/2 weeks of intense speculation about his future, fueled by statements from his own players and their parents, who showed concerns about Doherty's leadership and his ability to get along with players.

Odd no mention of your claims that he was called out by his own players for cheating. Seems that you're lying about Guthridge & Doherty. Which leads me to believe your entire comment is filled with errors.

And all of you bitching & crying won't change the fact that Kruzawooooski's career was ended in the worst way possible. Even a homer like yourself can't deny that. My whole point of saying anything in the first place was to fuck with you. And you took the bait. Thanks for that. It's been a great laugh.

dook basketball will be irrelevant within a couple of years. Scheyer will destroy everything Coach K built.

Since Dean Smith cheated with "No Show Classes" he set up who was his assistant coach? Bill Guthridge. What part of the team does the assistant coach not belong?

Dean hand picked him to carry on his legacy. Who else set it up so his team could benefit by not going to class?

McCants called out the whole UNC program:

McCants played at UNC under Doherty didn't he?

"But McCants did take a jab at Doherty by saying if the coach had remained in charge, "I'd deal with it." McCants said playing for Doherty wasn't hard, but it was "uncomfortable." He added that some players felt more respected than others."

How many of UNC's coaches ever stopped the "NO SHOW CLASSES" that were bogus?

That's right. NONE. Zero. They were nothing but a bunch of cheaters. Even your dumbass has to admit they cheated.

The report does say that Smith's longtime academic adviser, the late Burgess McSwain, and her successor, Wayne Walden, knew about the paper classes. A strategy to keep players eligible.
