I think my PC is kinda fubar’d. It doesn’t appear that any of 6 fans in the case are turning on. My PC works alright as an Excel box or for lite surfing, but if I try to play a game, it crashes within a minute (overheating is my assumption). I opened the case and visually inspected the fans, and while they were dusty (I cleared the surface dust from the blades as well as I could), nothing was obviously wrong. I don’t hear the fans working at all, that is why I suspect they are not activating.

I was last able to play a modern game earlier this week (Tuesday-ish?), but the crashing started yesterday.

Is there a way I can send a signal to the fans to “turn them on” so I can confirm they are working or not? Is there a hardware diagnosis tool within W11 that I can use to do a more universal check on all my components?

If all fans all of a sudden stopped working, the first thing I'd check is the power supply. Likely a single power supply running all 6 fans, since none are working.
