Anybody here speak Aggie?

Also, wtf does “gig em” even mean anyway?
I think it means that apple jacks is the official breakfast cereal of texas a&m university...en sech

Oh wait, that's dig 'em

Some dipshit thinks we could do better than Jimbo.

FYI 90% of the posters on TexAgs aren't Aggie fans. They are t-sips or tortilla chuckers trolling.

high quality GIF

If you think there’s a difference between “yellleaders” and cheerleaders, that tell us everything we need to know about Aggies.

You guys should stop denying it and just embrace the gay.
yell leaders are guys that lead yells at the football games. Cheerleaders are girls and lead cheers at all the other sports.

Not really that difficult to understand.

i have an actual friend that lives in New Braunfels and he's on there.. Grad and all that.. Guy is loaded and many of the BMDs for them are close to Billy and post on TexAgs too

I was more in the line of thinking of you.. it's a message board.. but when I met up with him during the UT/Bama weekend.. he was telling us a whole lot about some of the players there. He is done with Jimbo too, but I gotta admit..he's pretty up and down when it comes to aggy football.. he was upset after App st.. tried to cancel his room from a hotel across the field there for the Miami game ($1600), but couldnt..something like a 4 week notice for gameday Saturdays.. Went to it, took a pick with Coach O who was also there at the hotel.. was pumped after the win.. and now he's as low as lows are after last weekend..

Great guy though

TL;DR Texags is full of actual posters who are tied with the athletic dept at aggy

I watch those pep rallies for both entertainment as I think they are hilarious but also they are maybe the most cringeworthy things I have ever seen. One of those where you feel awkward for the rally guy. But what is with randomly doing that leg lift arm move thing they do every random word? Am I missing something with why they do that?

I only know a few phrases in Aggienese:

1. Gig 'em partner
2. FireJimbo.com
3. How much for the t-shirt
4. We're the team to beat (this should only be uttered in the summer months though)

Honestly Fisher and A&M deserve each other. One of the worst people to ever coach, and that is saying something, meets the most delusional fan base in the game. Good luck with all that.

Well if wikipedia says it over someone that actually went there, it must be true. I don't recall ever seeing the yell leaders at basketball or baseball games. Cheerleaders are at the basketball games. Maybe the big rivalry games they are at, but don't remember them.

"The Yell Leaders attend all home and away football games, all home basketball games, all home volleyball games, all home soccer matches, and post-season football, basketball, and volleyball. They can always be found on the sidelines of the playing field in front of the student section. Additionally, the Yell Leaders can be seen annually at the Texas A&M Coach’s Nights, all new student conferences, all Fish Camp sessions, and numerous campus events hosted by student organizations and university departments."

2. Texas A&M is on the rare side that there are no male cheerleaders majority of schools have mixed squads so as to perform bigger stunts
