AP Poll is interesting ...

Maybe the SEC looks better as a whole because essentially the whole conference gets +1 win for having a extra chicken shit game instead of 1/2 the conference having a extra L that is caused by that 9th conference game.
We look better because:

- We get the best recruits year in and year out
- We've won about 80% of the NCs in the past two decades
- We have the most NFL draftees year in and year out
- We have winning records against the other conferences over the last 25 years
- We regularly have more top 10, top 25 teams than any other conference
- Since 1998 we've had 6 teams win a NC, 7 of you count OU which is way
- Hell, we are even kicking your ass in the CFB TV ratings and that is with a much smaller fanbase due to school size.

So stop with the nonsense you are spewing above because in any given year most of our good teams play a really good OOC, and then 4 teams play regular OOC against FSU, Clemson, Louisville, and GaTech every year.

You guys are riding high this year ... let's see how that turns at mid-January.

Ah yes the historic powerhouses of Louisville and Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech has as many or more NCs since 1990 than every team in your conference not named tOSU. Let that sink in. 1 more than the premiere team in your conference, Oregon.

Who cares? Since that obvious fluke one season run national title in 1990, Georgia Tech has 5+ losses in all but 6 seasons. They are a low-middling team in a middling conference.

SEC honks make the same argument about Auburn being some great opponent constantly because they had like 3 really good seasons in the last 30 years. Even though theyve been mostly mediocre or even bad in all the inbetween

GaTech is a P4 team, not a FCS teams or a G6 team. I've always said here that draw works for us. But they are getting better under Key, and just knocked of a top 10 team. At least we play them every year in a rivalry game.

We've beaten Auburn 19 times in the last 21 games, so you won't hear that from me. But I see Auburn a lot like PSU. What have they done in the last 2 decades? The win all their games against inferior opponents, and then lose to tOSU and UM in most years.

What SEC honks do bring up is the dominance I posted before. Can you refute any of that? I mean I gave you about 7 items and you selected 2 parts of one item - GaTech and Louisville.

Who's actually dominant recently besides Bama and UGA?

Your thought process -

Well .... let's ignore that point, and that one, and that one, and that one, and that one, and that one, and that one, and he makes a good point about the OOC, oh wait, let's make fun of Ga Tech and Lousiville.

Post refuted.

C'mon.

I might be in the minority but I could care less what teams like Florida, Auburn & LSU did in what in football time is a long time ago. That does not mean shit in 2024.

Well, that alone is more than the B1G. But we also had LSU win 3 NCs in the last 2 decades and may have had the best team ever in 2019. OU has been stout until recently. And then since 1998 Auburn, UF (x2), and Auburn have won NCs. Are you really going to argue we haven't been the most dominant conference in the last 30 years? I mean who has been dominant in the B1G?

Once again, could care less what happened x amount of years ago. Means jack fucking shit when it comes to the current year.

You started our sub-discussion with:

Maybe the SEC looks better as a whole because essentially the whole conference gets +1 win for having a extra chicken shit game instead of 1/2 the conference having a extra L that is caused by that 9th conference game.

So you raised issues that go back beyond 2024.

See my post above ... you cared enough to post about the past. I'll let it go and move on.

Is it not true that the 4th chicken shit game basically gives the whole conference +1 win instead of half the conference carrying a extra L if they all had to play a extra conference game? 9-3 looks better than 8-4 and so on.

We get it SEC SEC SEC!!!! Always gotta lean on the conference pride when your team isn't quite up to the task in the given year.

Individual teams win championships. You don't see any fans of B1G teams claiming some kind of pride because Michigan won last year. This is a retardation specific to the SEC.

But we aren't talking about our 4-6 loss teams getting an extra win so they are bowl eligible.

It's simple to me - as pointed out above, we have better everything, and even only playing 8 games we still have way tougher schedules. Yet, you want us to make it even more difficult. No thanks. I just want them to balance the schedules.

Now you are doing it right. Shit, took a page of posts to get you to come around.

I don't think you were addressing that last part to my team. Let a B1G team beat us, or you win a few more NCs, then you can crow. Who knows, if the polls are right maybe this is your conference's year.

Georgia & Alabama can brag. Florida & Auburn have been complete dog shit most of the better part of the last decade though so yea not so much, same with LSU they've been wildly mediocre outside of a couple of years recently.

As long as you still acknowledge the 2005 season.. we are all good here, amigo
