Indiana would be 12th but for Bama and OM. That's about right ... would have been on the bubble.
USCjr seems low to me.
Clemson jump seems weird. They have set the ACC teams up for them to get 2 in depending on who loses next week.
ASU iump makes sense.
They have Miami right ... will be interesting to see if the CFP does. They have disagreed on Miami.
Bama is too close for comfort. USCjr beats Clemson, wonder if they jump Bama. If not, if Clemson loses, does the ACC loser drop below Bama and they move into the 11 slot? That may not get them in.
ASU winning the B12 could leap them ahead of Bama.

Bama only fell 1 more spot for losing by 21 @ a 5 loss team for their 3rd loss (2nd to unranked) than Indiana fell for losing by 23 @ the #2 team for their 1st loss

Merica!

Losing to a true blueblood is never going to hurt anyone much.

Illinois and Missouri being top 25 teams is just further testament to how meh everyone is this year all around

It's positioning. You can only drop so far. BTW, would have been fine dropping them to 25th. Once you get past the 2 loss teams that are better than the 3 losss teams, and you compare 2 and 3 loss teams, Bama is probably the best of those. They dropped OM more which makes sense.

UGA lost to Ole Miss and dropped from 3 to 12. IU would have dropped to 12. That seems the be the same, roughly.

UGA dropped 9 spots when they lost to Ole Miss. This victim mentality you have is sad

both are 8-3.
there are 0 power teams with better records who arent ranked. 2 ACC and 1 BigXII team with same record that are not ranked.
at this same time last year there were 6 8-3 power 5 teams and a 7-4 Tenn ranked.

I do think Bama should have dropped more but I was more so thinking that while comparing them to Ole Miss. They lost by a TD in Florida in a close game while Bama got handled in Oklahoma. Both fell 6 spots

Yea this is definitely a Bama benefit of the doubt case.

I'm guessing they start losing that the further we get away from Saban.

SMU is in the ACC championship game. If Miami loses then Clemson is in. They could lose to South Carolina, tumble in the rankings and then Win the ACC and be trying to get in at the 12 spot over a Tulane team that could win the AAC. Provided Boise wins out, we could see the ACC miss entirely

i'd put SCe over Bama

overrated...rated too high or whatever your preferred phrase is. Indiana did what Indiana does and got their shit pushed in. ND will make nice cannon fodder for someone in the first round of the playoff. Miami? How can anyone take that shit program seriously??????????

Alabama should not even be mentioned for the playoffs. 3 losses, but losing to dogs hit Oklahoma? That's enough of that shit

If Aggie beats #3 Texas, they should vault back into the top 12 ahead of Bama, at least until the CCG.

Honestly, everyone should become Aubie fans this weekend

There's no reason they should not jump back ahead of Bama if they beat Texas.
Yep, and then when they get dunked on by Georgia, they will fall back to 20th and out of playoff contention. It's too bad the XII and ACC don't have any more teams with one loss or less. This would totally be the year for fewer SEC teams. I'm not even convinced that Tennessee is worthy of a bid.
