Arch Manning news ...

Hit piece. Texas isn’t even top 10 in recruiting spending.
it's not a hit piece, it's a fluff piece lol

Nothing but good PR here, just shows that UT rolls out the red carpet on visits

BTW what a game from 3 star Arch last night.. him beating a Class 5A school while playing for a 2A team moves him up a half a star..

Newman 54-52
They were down 18 at half
Looks like some good D being played in hs these days, especially with 12 minute quarters

Picked Texas... Texas over Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, Ole Miss, etc.

The same Texas that just lost to another mediocre Big12 rival (Texas Tech) today.

Why?

He should have gone to Georgia.

At this point, I have lost any confidence in Texas. They have talent to play with top teams but it is a cultural issue kind of like Tennessee's past failures but Texas just seems to be worse and they cannot get out of their own way.

They have more $$$ and resources than any program in College Football and yet they continue to lose to teams like Baylor, Texas Tech, Kansas, etc. that have a fraction of their resources.

Maybe they will do better when they move to SEC, I don't know. They apparently got major issues as a program right now.

@Thiefery , where will Arch be playing in 2024?

Well he might be there but with ewers there he prob wont be playing
what are you talking about? Ewers will be in the nfl in '24.. '24 will be either Arch or Maalik Murphys debut season as the starter for UT.

Is Ewers still going to be jumping to the nfl early like some of y’all said?
depends on this season.. QBs usually take a big step from year 1 to 2.. hopefully that's the case...
