he has 4, but everyone knows he will play this and next season then bounce to the NFL.. Only reason he wouldn't is if he isn't what most people have said he is (which means Arch could beat him in the off season)

4 years of eligibility, 2 years before he can go to the NFL. If he does decent he will go to the NFL ASAP. That's dawggys point, not how long the mullet could stay in college. The kid wants the biggest stage as fast as he can. If the NFL is an option and there is 1st round chatter, he gone as soon as he can.
Maybe. Could be he will have a higher salary in college than as a rookie in the NFL. And his family didn’t always jump the first chance they had.

Hutchinson as the #2 overall guy will make over 8 mil a season over 4 years all guaranteed. 23 mil signing bonus, too. NIL is paying some players really well, but if they have a chance to go high they will dip and be THAT much closer to getting paid on contract 2
Uncle Peyton didn’t go early, and he was supposedly the top QB as a Junior. Today we have $8 Million NIL deals… there was nothing back then.

Agree to a point. If he can legit go in the 1st round then he can make more guaranteed money in the NFL. I stated the other day that NIL might be good for CFB for keeping third-day talent in college instead of taking a lower payday in the NFL.

Agree. the delta between CFB and NFL have gone away with NIL being introduced. If you are a top player at a top school then you get nearly equal pay, medical care, and fringe benefits as an NFL guy. But you aren't a professional and the draw that comes with that and pretty much no strings or hoops to jump through in order to get paid will draw the 1st rounders out of CFB.

Hell, Ewers might stink and not win the job. But, as it goes with Manning, if he is competition that Manning has to worry about then he will be like Bryce Young and will play this year and next and enter the NFL draft in 2024. His 3rd year, 2nd year as presumed starter at Texas would be 2023, Manning's freshman year. Ewers skipped his senior year of high school to make money ... he's no 4 year college guy, IMO.

We are talking Ewers leaving early, not Manning. Ewers skipped his senior year of high school to make money, he's not staying in college if he can get to the NFL. If he can't get to the NFL, he's not competition for Manning if Manning is as advertised.
I could actually see Manning stay all 4 years ... family has money, he has stated he wants to enjoy his college experience (you know everyone around him in his family did), and he could chase a natty no one else got.
